Great outreach in St-Croix,
I am thankful to God that we are here in St-Croix, I missed a lot the sunny day and warm weather while I was in Montana, and now, we have sun every day, that's a blessing. I am feeling home here, and I really like this Island.
We had different things to do while over here : worship leading in churches, helping out the YWAM base here in St-Croix, we served food at the Lighthouse Mission which is a center for homeless people, also we helped out the Ginger House, a Lutheran center for mentally disabled people, painting the house, we played music on the dock at Christiansted, we had a concert in few places, like a center for retired and elderly people (Flamboyant Garden), and at another center for Kids. We did work with kids also, one time we played with the kids in the Kindergarten, another time we played with kids between 6 till about 10 and played kites with them. There was a time also we were invited to lead worship songs and it was a youth meeting. We cleaned up the base here which was a sugar plantation before. This location were used to be a place where slaves worked at during the time of slavery, but now, after YWAM purchased it, the goal of the leaders here is to change this place into a place of peace, recovery and comfort for the people in this island.
During our free time, we go to the beach doing snorkeling, swimming, and doing horse riding, which was wonderful, I love this outreach,
God is good.
