Verses from my friend Mark in UK,

Psalm 23
1
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Galatians 5:5
For through the Spirit, by faith,
we ourselves eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication,
with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

This week had lots of celebrations,

Hi,

This week was exciting, we had lots of fun and celebrations.

First, on Tuesday we had a celebration here in YWAM Montana, because the base was paid off, Praise God ! It is mostly a celebration of God’s faithfulness. This base is very huge and lots of houses on it, they started to buy it since June 1985.
The leaders and staffs here didn’t ask for help from outside, but different people just contributed little amount of money each month and then they got the money to pay the rest of the loans.
God is just amazing, because there are lots of stories and miracles showing how God provided this base to keep running and to finish the buildings on it.
We had this big party, when we learnt about the history of the base, lot’s of testimonies about God’s faithfulness, we had also a praise and worship time, it was really exciting.
In the evening we had also a prayer time for different people especially the leaders and people working here, the director of YWAM North America did a short sharing which was very consistent, then we had worship time again, which was the taste of what will be heaven, as we are from different nations, more than 20 countries.
It made me remembering my country, as we have some sort of those big meeting back home. The food was really delicious and we had lots of desserts.

Then we had Thanksgiving on Thursday, it was my first one in America. I heard people talking about it before but this year, God took me here and I could be part of this big tradition in the States. We went to Pete’s house (our leader), with some of my classmates, and some other people. We had plenty of food, of course we had turkey, and we had games, then watched movies, it was a relaxing time.

Then, Bob and Cathy Walker took me and two friends from India to town, we were standing on the side of the road watching the Christmas Parade in Kalispell. It was nice and cold, lots of kids and lots of different things in this city, it was at 7 in the evening. We have snow now for few days and it’s cold outside especially at night. It starts to feel Christmas over here now, as people are putting on their light in front of their house. There are lots of lights and many of those have the shapes of deer or Santa Claus. It’s nice to be out there, in the morning there is snow everywhere, all the trees become white, the houses and the cars have snow on top of them. It’s like in a dream but not real. I love snow as I am not used to it and I enjoy it because it’s something new for me. Also, during the night, we have lights everywhere, it’s wonderful.

God is blessing me over here, even if had some hard times before. I grow and God was stretching my faith. There’s no better place other than being in His hands. God is good, He is always good.

God is a great artist, and it is just snowing here, it's wonderful

Time is very fast and tomorrow we will be on the 7th week of the training.

Just this evening it starts to snow here in the base, it's all white around, I am impressed because after the little snow I saw when I was in England, that's may be the third time I saw snow, it's nice.

Since the last time I wrote in english and now, I had few opportunities to get involved in worship leading and to be part of the worhsip team.
At times in the class, but also I helped Pete leading worship with few of my classmates on Thursday with the DTS students, then every Friday in the classroom, I helped in worship leading.
Every Sunday, I helped Pete to lead worhsip at his church, "Glacier Mountain Fellowship". Today the same team went to a city called Rohan, which is 1hour drive from the base, and Adam (one of my classmates) led us in worship songs and I helped him playing guitar and singing.
I had an opportunity to share my testimony, and it was really cool.
I was just amazed this morning when I realized that I was in this church,
you never know where God will lead you one day.

I shared through my testimony that I was christian since I was kid but I didn't have intimacy with God, I didn't understand when the preacher said : "God is good", then I was wondering what is this goodness of God that people are talking about. I was forced to go to church when I was a boy, and my Mum grabed me every Sunday to go to church. If I could choose I prefered not to go, but because I was forced I had to go as I was taught to be obedient.
I was busy with my study and I spent my time studying because I had a big fear of the future, so I thought that getting diplomas will solve the problem and I worked hard to get a master's degree.
After my study, I was looking for a job, I found one, then I worked for a couple of years. After that, I felt stressed, also under pressure, sometimes I even worked on Sundays . I don't go to church when I worked and I felt really really dry at that time.
I came to realize afterward that it was not the kind of life I was dreaming of when I was a kid. Then I was tired and fed up with my job.

God started to work on me and I started to pray :
"God I am tired with this kind of life, I am shattered to try to get rid of the fears but there's no result. I want to stop this and I want to serve you because I trust that you have a better plan for my life and you have something else than this. People say that you are good, but I have never felt that, I want to taste your goodness and I want to experience your kindness because people say that, my Mum said that but I don't feel that. God open the door for me to grow spiritually, because I want to know you."
Then my Mum helped me to discover YWAM, and then I applied for a DTS in my country. I was accepted, and as soon as I started the training, I realized that that's what I wanted. I needed God in my life, but I was trying to avoid Him all these yeaars.
God is good now and I experience it every day of my life.
He is really good and it's not a theorie or a just a statement.

My life has radically changed since then, and it's been a little bit more than 3 years now. Praise the Lord !!!
Diplomas can't solve the problem, or take out the fears, but God can take them out. Jesus gave his life for each one of us on the cross, He has already given the answer and the solution in our life and he says this is the solution for you but we tend to ignore that and we try to find our own solution.

Montana is really beautifull at this period of time and I am just enjoying it.
I am living in my dream because coming here was one of those dreams I had.

On the way to church today, we drove on the side of the lake, and it was just amazing to see the contrast between the lake and the rocky mountains. On top the the mountains there is snow and the sun is shining but the snow doesn't melt, and the trees turn their colors in yellow and orange, just some of them stay green, they call it evergreen if I remember well. The picture is really inspiring if you are writing poetry or if you like picturing your peom, it's really wonderful.
It is a real painting, but not just picture, it's full of life and even the trees are waving their leaves and glorify God, the birds,....
God is a great artist, He is extravagant, sometimes funny and mysterious.

I start to get used to see wild deers here, they just go everywhere and on Sunday morning there were some of them dead on the road bumped by cars.
Yesterday night, we went to a Presbyterian church in Kalispell and we went to a night prayer for youth, the guys in my class led worship for those kids and it was really cool. we had a nice fellowship with them, and had fun in curving pumpkins. It's part of those american tradition for Halloween. I enjoyed it. On the way home, there was a bear crossing the road, and all of us in the car were shouting loud and surprised about it, amazing !!!

There are lots to say but I will try to up-date this web site as time goes on.

Thank you for your prayers, I appreciate those, keep praying !!!

You can put here your comment if you want, feel free to do that..

Be blessed.

Aty alavitra ny tanana,

Miarahaba anao,

Mandeha be ny fotoana ary efa mihoatra ny iray volana sahady aho no tonga teto Montana. Te hiresaka @ teny gasy mafy fa tsy misy mahay aty amin'ny be kintana aty, de manoratra amin'ny teny gasy no mety ho vahaolana. Hiezaka hanoratra teny gasy.

Tsara Jesosy ary tena faly aho fa zanak'Andriamanitra. Faly aho fa gasy fa no namoronany ahy ary "fier" na mirehareha fa gasy, ary misy tsirony be ny fivoahana tahak'izao satria rehefa tafahoana ny olona avy amin'ny firenena isan-karazany de samy mitantara ny fireneny. Samy mirehareha (tsy hoe matikambo akory fa "fier") amin'ny fireneny ny olona rehetra ary anisan'izany aho aty satria tiako ny fireneko. Misy firenena 20 eo ho eo ny mpianatra tonga mianatra aty amin'ity taom-pianarana ity, ka rehefa tonga ny fotoana fiderana dia tena mientanentana satria efa taratry ny any an-danitra sahady izany, araka ny voalazan'ny Soratra Masina hoe : olona avy amin'ny firenena rehetra, ... Jereo ny Apokalipsy 7:9.

Tokony hiova amin'izay ny fomba fijerintsika gasy amin'ny ankapobeny, indrindra fa isika kristiana rehefa miteny hoe "vita gasy", satria ny amerikana de tena mirehareha fa rehefa vita amerikana dia tsara. Koa maninona ny vita gasy no eritreretina hoe ratsy foana?
Tsy resaka hoe mialona ny amerikana akory izany fa isika tsy ho amerikana mihintsy fa gasy ary izany no namoronan'Andriamanitra antsika, koa maninona raha samy miezaka manao zavatra tsara araka ny tandrifiny avy de hiova ny fitenenana hoe vita gasy, ka lasa positif ary hidika hoe tsara izany atsy ho atsy.

Fianarana momba ny fiderana no ataoko aty ka anisan'ny zavatra takiana aminay ny mamoron-kira 1 isan-kerinandro. Rehefa avy eo dia samy mihira ny hirany ao an-dakilasy daholo rehefa talata hariva. Misy 13 izahay no mpianatra ary 5 ny staff. Misy 3 izahay no tsy amerikana. Iray avy any Australie, iray avy any Ruwanda, ary mazava ho azy fa ny iray dia gasy avy any Madagasikara. De variana aho satria tena tanora be daholo ny mpiara-mianatra amiko nefa ry zareo tena manan-talenta be daholo, na mihira na mitendry, samy babany avokoa hoy ny fitenenana. 20 taona ny ankamaroany nefa tena mahay mitendry instrument 2 na telo na mihoatra ary tena mahay mihira daholo. De gaga aho hoe ny gasy ve tsy manan-talenta koa raha manana moyen hivelarana.
Ary raha ny marina aza de manana talenta efa voajanahary ny gasy fa ny fitrandrahana na fampivelarana izany no manahirana matetika noho ny tsy fisian'ny fitaovana. Ny ankizy vavy aty mitendry aponga maro anaka (batterie) ary tena mahay fa tsy manala azy fotsiny, de lasa ny saina hoe ny tovovavy gasy koa ve tsy mba hahay raha nanana aponga maro anaka hatramin'ny faha-keliny.
Raha iverenako ilay hira isaky ny talata hariva dia samy mampiseho ny fahaizany eo daholo ny amerikana satria maro an'isa izy ireo, tsara ny zavatra hataony fa ny gasy koa manana ny mampiavaka azy. Ilay namako iray efitrano amiko moa de milaza hoe : "genuis from Madagascar", izay tsy hadikako sao hoe matikambo, fa aleo manetry tena. Ny azy na ny guitare ampiasaina aza die efa mamono lolo hoy ny fitenena ary miaraka amin'ny fitaovana isan-karazany, fa ny gasy tsotsotra fa tsapany any anatiny any fa misy zavatra tsy hananany izay ny gasy no manana azy. Deraina ny Tompo !!!

Tsy de hoe te hampitaha na mifaninana akory fa mahita zavatra hafa de manjary mametra-panontaniana.
Ny fantatro dia manana talenta ny gasy fa tsy voatrandraka ary matetika aza raha te hivelatra ilay ankizy raha eo amin'ny lafiny mozika no resahako manokana dia bedin'ny ray aman-dreny hoe tsy hinanan-kanina mozika fa ajanony. Tsy mba misy mamporisika ny ankizy te hianatra mozika satria tsy hita izay vokany ary tsy misy asa ho an'ny olona mitendry fotsiny na mihira fotsiny any an-tanana.
Ry zareo moa velona raha mitendry fotsiny ka betsaka ny tena mahay, na mihira "fotsiny" ka tena mahay. Fa isika kosa mba ahoana?
Raha ny faniriako de mba ho fantatra eran'izao tontolo izao hoe izany ny mozika gasy, tahaka ny hoe raha vao maheno "country" de lazaina fa mozika amerikana izany.

Averiko indray fa tsy mampitaha akory fa mba te hanandratra ny an'ny tena sy ny kolontsaina any amin'ny tanana, ka lasa mieritreritra zavatra maro.

Mety gaga angamba ny sasany hoe toa tsy misy resaka ara-pahany izy izany?
Olona no namoronan'Andriamanitra antsika ka mampiavaka antsika ny saina, rehefa mandeha ny eritreritra dia mametra-panontaniana isan-karazany, ny mahafinaritra dia eo Andriamanitra izay nanao ny saina afaka mamaly ny fanontaniana tsy misy valiny.

Mandeha tsara ny fianarako ary tena mahita tsirony aho aty. Tena mahatsapa hoe aty no toerana tian'ny Tompo hisy ahy mandritra ny volana vitsivitsy.

Rehefa mandeha ny toriteny de hoe tsara ny Tompo, kanefa nisy fotoana tsy nahatsapako izany, hoe tsara ahoana moa Izy. De nivavaka aho hoe asehoy ahy ary ny fahatsaranao, de nasehony ahy izany. Tsy hoe aty aho akory vao mahatsapa izany fa nanomboka tamin'ny fotoana tena nanolorako ny fiainako hotantanan'Andrimanitra ka nananako fifandraisana akaiky Aminy.

Betsaka ny azo lazaina fa ny tiako hambara de hoe afaka mandefa ny tora-ponao ato ianao fa misy toerana ho an'ny "commentaire" ato dia soraty ao ze mba mahafinaritra anao.

Misaotra amin'ny vavaka ataonao ho ahy, fa tena fitahiana lehibe ho izany.

Hotahiana ianao na mivoaka na miditra. Amen.

Narilanto.

MADAGASCAR movie

YWAM Montana - USA, School of Worship 2006

Water tower YWAM Montana

Manahoana! Greetings from Montana! I have now been in Montana, USA for just over a month and have been adjusting to the weather, culture and new place God has brought me. It almost doesn't seem real that I am here because I have been waiting so long to see this dream realized, since even before my DTS I have prayed and asked God to enable me to be apart of this program, and I am now here, amen!
It was quite an adventure just to get here, traveling by five planes through several countries, but througth the confusion and chaos God was so evidently with me and I felt God telling me to enjoy the ride. I praise him for providing in every way. At first my finances were a concern but God soon became bigger than the amount of money I needed.
America is quite different from Madagascar, but God really prepared me ahead of time to easily adjust to the differences, as I was able to spend some time in England prior to my arrival to the USA. Culture shock was very minumal. However I do really miss the sun, it gets cold here!
So far in the school we have studied the heart of the School of Worship, Songwritting, Identity of a worshiper and the history of worship. All of them have taught me many new and encouraging things, the songwritting week has been a highlight so far. It equiped me with a lot of new tools and ideas. The teaching on identity was also very impacting as I began to really understand the grace of God at a greater level.
We had a chance to visit a national park here where there are glaciers, they were so majestic and covered in snow! I truely enjoy my classmates and the diversity represented in our school. There are many unique gifts and callings. I have been impressed by the talent of many of the people in my school at such young ages with much passion and vision for God.
I hope you all are well, I miss my friendships very much with all of you. I will continue to update more of what I am learning and experiencing as time goes on!
Blessings
